Why Creation Journaling?
Close observation of nature, combined with Truth from scripture allows us to have a fuller picture of God's character and to come to better know Him through dedicated time dwelling on His wondrous creativity. This is a valuable time for all ages and artistic levels to engage with God-given creativity and come to better know our Creator.
What if I'm not an Artist?
Drawing is only one part of the Creation Journaling Process. We always encourage participants to start with careful observation of their surroundings and the theme for the day. This can include creating art, but also includes written observations, measurements, questions and scripture. Ultimately all these practices can lead us toward Worship. If your journal pages end up mostly being filled with words, that's still ok!
